Even Big Business Owners Need Help In This New Technology Internet Mobile World

Starting several years ago, I have constantly been telling business owner friends of mine that they HAD to have a website these days.

If you weren't found online, you simply don't exist.

That was true then and it is true now.

But it is so much more than that these days!

Not only do you need a website, you need to have profiles on all the major social networks!

(A mobile version of your website is pretty good, too, but I'll go over that in another post.)

And ALL OF IT needs to be engaging and interactive with your audience!!!

The good news is that it does not have to be confusing, difficult, costly or time consuming.

I have friends who have ran large, international companies, are members of CEO Space and yet do not have the first CLUE as to how to get online. 

Or some who are online but it is a static page that cost them thousands and is doing NOTHING for them.

If you contact a firm to set you up with all of this, not only will you have to pay huge fees upfront, but anytime you want to change anything, you have to contact them to do it and of course, pay more.

I am all about results, in business and in my coaching.  You want to do what you do to get results!!!

I have helped friends, friends of friends, relatives and others get started with no or low cost methods online. 

I've helped everything from local restaurants, to construction companies, many doctors, authors, internet marketers, retailers, coaches and much more.

It is actually very simple and easy to create a presence online that can help your business, regardless of how big it is and I'm going to give you 2 simple steps right now.

1. You can go to Blogger (that is what you are on reading this blog, BTW) and create your very own free account and within a few minutes you can have a blog up just like this.  There you go, you now have an internet presence.
2. Now, go to Facebook and create a free personal profile and once you have done that, create your own free business/fan page. 

There you go.

Of course there is much more you can do and if you already have a presence, I can help you get the most out of it.

I have one friend in particular who keeps encouraging me to write some training on all this from a very remedial level.  (I know some advanced techniques, too, but to begin with, it will be like Pre-School.)

Why Every Business Needs Business Funding & A Backup Plan In This Economy

In this economy, you never know what may happen.  However, most people do not take steps to secure their business in the event of a downturn or other issue until it is too late.

As a successful business owner, I know that the time to acquire access to money for your business is when you don’t really need it.

No matter how well thought out and organized your business plan is, there are always unexpected issues that arise that can substantially slow down or even halt the opening or growth of your business.

Have you ever wondered why some businesses stay open for years through every economic shift while others can’t even stay open a few months?

The number one reason for this is lack of enough funding!

What the mainstream does is just go to a bank with your own personal guarantee and get a loan or, if you’re really fortunate, find some angel investors to provide capital.

So what should you do in order to open your business and keep it growing regardless of what issues may arise?

·         Educate yourself on these other sources of funds and start immediately on establishing credit for your own business whether you think you need it or not.

·         Set up a “Set Aside” account that will be a contingency against immediate cash needs.  Take a percentage of gross sales and put in this savings account and then try and operate so that you never need it.

·         Keep your overhead expenses as low as possible so that even when sales are down you can still stay open.

·         Build an email list of your current clients and prospects and use an automated system to stay in contact with them.  Your best source of income is always your customer base.

If you follow just those four steps, you will be doing what I feel most small businesses don’t do and you will be securing your businesses future and even allowing for growth.
