Even Big Business Owners Need Help In This New Technology Internet Mobile World

Starting several years ago, I have constantly been telling business owner friends of mine that they HAD to have a website these days.

If you weren't found online, you simply don't exist.

That was true then and it is true now.

But it is so much more than that these days!

Not only do you need a website, you need to have profiles on all the major social networks!

(A mobile version of your website is pretty good, too, but I'll go over that in another post.)

And ALL OF IT needs to be engaging and interactive with your audience!!!

The good news is that it does not have to be confusing, difficult, costly or time consuming.

I have friends who have ran large, international companies, are members of CEO Space and yet do not have the first CLUE as to how to get online.

Or some who are online but it is a static page that cost them thousands and is doing NOTHING for them.

If you contact a firm to set you up with all of this, not only will you have to pay huge fees upfront, but anytime you want to change anything, you have to contact them to do it and of course, pay more.

I am all about results, in business and in my coaching.  You want to do what you do to get results!!!

I have helped friends, friends of friends, relatives and others get started with no or low cost methods online.

I've helped everything from local restaurants, to construction companies, many doctors, authors, internet marketers, retailers, coaches and much more.

It is actually very simple and easy to create a presence online that can help your business, regardless of how big it is and I'm going to give you 2 simple steps right now.

  1. You can go to Blogger (that is what you are on reading this blog, BTW) and create your very own free account and within a few minutes you can have a blog up just like this.  There you go, you now have an internet presence.
  2. Now, go to Facebook and create a free personal profile and once you have done that, create your own free business/fan page.
There you go.

Of course there is much more you can do and if you already have a presence, I can help you get the most out of it.

If you would rather have a site that you own, I can show you how to easily do that, too, in future posts and much more.

I have one friend in particular who keeps encouraging me to write some training on all this from a very remedial level.  (I know some advanced techniques, too, but to begin with, it will be like Pre-School.)

So that is what I'm going to do!

Stay posted here for more.

My goal is to keep it super simple and very inexpensive.

However, I would love to first know how many people would like such a thing and what you would like to see in it.

My main purpose and passion in life is helping people.

I am currently concentrating on my Life Coaching.

It is only because of the continual cries for help from some of my dearest friends that I'm even doing this.

Follow this blog for more.

Please comment below what you want to learn about really expanding your market online and on social networks and mobile.  Then, I'll see how I may be able to help you.

Thanks,

Kathy Hadley

  1. Thank you Kathy for offering ways to better educate people in developing their businesses.

I would like to know the best and easiest way to market a product. What is the best way to get people to see it and then to buy it? What systems need to be in place for this to happen?

    Thank You!

  3. I love the two first baby steps to get your online presence up and running in no time flat. Making the decision to jump in and do it is often the first step to getting out of our own way!

    1. And even if you already have an online presence, I would have someone create a blogger blog and an facebook fan page. They really help your Klout.com score. In my advanced techniques I show people how to leverage Klout, too. :-)

  4. I think it's all about getting started. Trying it out and then working out what's next.

    1. I agree. My friends, especially one, who has gone on and on about how I really need to help people with all this says that even savvy business owners who are her age need the "baby steps" . That is why I'll start with "Pre-School". Then I will add what people are wanting from there.

      Thanks,

      Kathy

  5. I am still amazed at the number of entrepreneurs not online yet. So many just do not understand the value. Many more believe that they will simply 'build it and they will come'.

  6. Being online and creating a social presence is a MUST these days! And you must engage as well...its not enough to simply create those online profiles. You must build a network as well!
